I’m Denise — a photographer and artist based in Los Angeles where I live with my family of boys including my spicy horse named Teddy.

 I’m endlessly inspired by the beauty of simplicity and the art of creating a home that's grounded in comfort yet inspiring and elevated. My work blends minimalism with boldness, calm with color, and meaning with a wink of wit. Sometimes it begins with something I stumble upon in nature or on adventure both near or far. Other times it’s sparked by my love of words, the interaction of color and type, or humor and pop culture. 

Whether I’m working in photography, collage, painting or hand-drawn typography, I always begin by imagining it as a large statement piece ... and then try to imagine it living everywhere from a shelf to a gallery wall. Some pieces take years to evolve, others come in rush all at once. You may have seen my work featured by West Elm, Madewell, Domino, HGTV or Minted. Or maybe you’ve spotted my lifestyle photography in campaigns for brands like Netflix, Hulu, United Airlines, Red Bull, Vogue and more.
